Johnny Depp to appear in Rihanna’s ‘Savage X Fenty Vol. 4’ fashion show
LONDON — Johnny Depp is one of the most popular celebrities in the world. He sells out movie theaters, tours the world and has sold more than 100 million records. And now he is making his way into fashion, where he has recently been fronting for Rihanna, presenting a Vogue cover and starring in a commercial for Gucci.
The designer brand is celebrating his new collaboration with the singer and has a new collection to show at London Fashion Week, including looks inspired by Rihanna’s ‘Savage X Fenty Vol. 4’.
Here are some details about the show:
“There will be something for everyone, we’re taking inspiration from her new album, Savage X Fenty Vol. 4,” Depp said in a statement. “I was super excited to take on the challenge of creating an exclusive look for Riri’s fashion show. It was very important to her that she sees her designs being created – in New York, London, Paris and eventually in her hometown of Barbados!”
The first look is inspired by the “wild, wild world of me” and will include ruffled, short shorts with a cropped jacket, a pink and green patterned bodice with ruffles on the sides with a high-low neckline, sheer black pants and platform boots.
The second look is inspired by Rihanna’s “I have the world by the tail,” and features a ruffled, short-shorts look with short-sleeved tops, a pink and green patterned bodice with ruffles, a high-low neckline and sheer black pants and platform boots.
“She’s a fashion genius,” Depp added, saying that she had always “totally understood” how he wanted his “personal style to look.”
