Relaxed Lionel Messi determined to savor ‘likely’ final World Cup
It’s been some time since Argentina’s Lionel Messi appeared at a World Cup finals, and in his first appearance since the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, the striker is determined to enjoy the occasion when it comes.
His side have qualified for this tournament after finishing third in the Copa America.
“I will do everything I can to enjoy this World Cup and I will do my best to help my team and my country to get to the finals,” said Messi

“I have so many memories from that World Cup. In this World Cup I will try my best,” he continued.
“I think we have all the opportunities for a chance to advance because we need to finish well in the group.”
He also thinks that, as the tournament draws to a close on Sunday, there are plenty of chances for him to showcase his talent.
“I think it’s a good World Cup,” he said. “The thing that worries me is that we cannot say that Argentina already won and we are going to the semis.
“There are many things we need to work on and I need to get stronger and better. We cannot be complacent.
“The World Cup, as a tournament, is a very tricky one,
