This designer has been on the rise since 2010 and has just recently released his first ready-to-wear collection in 2011. In fact, he has released all of his spring/summer collections in just a few short months.
For those that are unfamiliar with what McQueen stands for, it stands for Alexander O’Neill McQueen, his middle name. McQueen was born in 1929 and had many other hobbies before he started designing. He once designed his own suits but never really found that success. Eventually, he decided to use his skills as a tailor and started working with his own designs and made a living out of it.
Fast forward to 2017 and McQueen is still fashion’s most sought after designer because he still designs fashion.
McQueen grew up watching his parents, his mother and father, while his mother took care of the house and McQueen was left to his father, a tailor. McQueen had all the freedom, the time and the freedom to be his own person.
As time went on, McQueen decided to begin designing his own clothes and decided that his first collection was to be called “Crazy.” McQueen worked extremely hard and was a master at getting his designs approved by the fashion industry. McQueen’s first collection was a success and soon after he began designing ready-to-wear collections. He also designed a few clothes for fashion designers. McQueen is one of the fashion world’s most influential fashion designers.
