Here’s the complete list of 2023 Grammy nominees.
“Rise” was a big one, receiving seven nominations, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
The list of nominees for the 2020 Grammy Awards are out!
“Rise” was a big one, winning in all 6 categories — Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Song of the Year, Best Contemporary Song, and Best Music Video — and it beat out “Set Fire to the Rain” with 7.5-point difference — in the top spot. “Rise” scored another win for Best Music Video, its third of the night — beating out its closest competition, “A Little Bit Country for You” with 2.5-point difference.
It can’t be a shock the Grammys are honoring an all-star group like the Black Keys, as is the case with this year’s nominees. They have been nominated in every category they’re in the past, and it looks like we’ll be seeing more of that. “A Matter of Trust,” “Lonely Boy,” and “Brothers” all earned nominations in their categories, while the trio can’t be ignored — they all deserve nominations for their other accomplishments and are well-deserving of one too. “Lonely Boy” nabbed 3 awards including the Grammy for Best Rock Performance for “Lonely Boy,” while “Brothers” — of which the three-piece is comprised — also received a nomination for Best Rock Performance.
So, the latest list of Grammy nominees has been announced and it can’t be a bad one, as we’ve been hoping for an all-star group of nominees here from the moment Grammy voters began thinking about them.
We’re still waiting on Black Keys’ nominations, though, so we’ll have to wait just a little bit longer for that to be confirmed. But “A Matter of Trust” and “Lonely Boy” were both worthy nominees in this category.
