Ice Cube says he lost a $9-million movie deal after refusing to get COVID-19 vaccine
John Legend says he’s “not worried” about the coronavirus but he’s also not on the vaccine
Former NBA star Tracy McGrady urges the NBA’s players to make changes
The NBA has become a game of waiting by the league’s players ahead of the season’s start, but some players have found ways to get through the time in good spirits.
One player was in a position to make it in this video before the coronavirus hit the US in late March and locked up the league for a month.
Former NBA player Tracy McGrady, who played for the New York Knicks, says he’s “not worried” about the coronavirus, but he’s also not on the vaccine.
In the video he says, “I didn’t care about the coronavirus back when it was going around in China,” but he also says, “As the story continues to unfold, I will probably make changes to the way I work.”
“I’m not worried about the quarantine and what they have to do,” he says. “I’m worried about getting enough rest and staying away from all of this stuff. This is a lot of work,” he says.
“I feel like, you know, I’ll be able to make it. I’ll be able to make it to games. I’ll be able to practice and stay focused. But, there are a lot of things on my plate right now,” he says, going on to say that he’s already making changes, which include not practicing and not making a habit of visiting his family.
McGrady says he does not see any reason why he can’t be healthy for now.
