He has become a Twitter sensation, but what has Qaisar Syed, alias CEZR, been up to?

He went to college as a student of fine arts. “After that it was a long struggle to be able to buy food for my family and make money to support them,” he says. “With time my circumstance improved. I have got all things in my life right now.”

It’s a typical interview with a hopeful young Pakistani man whose pretty face has been plastered all over Facebook and Pakistan’s social media, both as a stalker and entertainer.

A week ago, he was a young organic farm gardener who now tells me he’s at the second round of auditions for singing talent show 7th Heaven. He’s overcome his fear of birds to sing a song that falls flat, but that doesn’t deter him. He made a music video to his song. Now his video has 50,000 views and he has someone in Pune (the capital of Maharashtra, India) filming the audio.

He is also garnering 300 fans on Facebook and many have shared their thoughts and secrets with him, including those of an “entertainer known as Joe Bennett who has gone on to some pretty big things in the film industry,” says Qaisar.

So what advice does Joe have for the aspiring pop star, who wows us with his extraordinary voice and dance moves, and who urges us all to “get positive and remind yourself of your dreams”?

“Please just try hard to stay hungry, and to never give up on the dream even if you’re not trying to win. I have realised now that everything in life you go through has a purpose.”

Do you think Qaisar Syed has got what it takes to become a pop star? Let us know here.
