Hey, L.A. Swifties, Taylor Swift expands Eras tour, including two more shows at SoFi Stadium in San Francisco
Taylor Swift announced the first leg of her “1989 World Tour” on Thursday (May 28), announcing that she’ll be taking her massive tour to California for the first time on tour.
In an Instagram video, Swift announced that she would be teaming up with the team that created the Apple logo, branding and marketing firm, Brand New. Swift and Brand New are bringing along several other companies, including T-Mobile, Beats by Dre, a company that produces headphones.
Swift’s 1989 tour will launch on September 30 at the AT&T Stadium in San Francisco during Super Bowl LI, with dates on the West Coast scheduled through August.
In addition to the San Francisco stadium stop, Swift is also embarking on two more intimate shows at SoFi Stadium in San Francisco on June 10 and June 12.
Here’s the full tour schedule, along with the three new dates:
Thursday, Sept. 30: San Francisco (AT&T Park)
Friday, Oct. 20: San Francisco (SoFi Stadium)
Saturday, Nov. 7: Seattle (Mercedes-Benz Stadium)
Friday, June 10: San Francisco (SoFi Stadium)
Friday, June 12: San Francisco (SoFi Stadium)
The tour will start with Swift’s first live show in the Bay Area at AT&T Park in San Francisco on Sept. 30. The stadium show will be followed by two SoFi Stadium concerts on June 10 and 12.
The first two dates in Seattle are sold out, but tickets are on sale now. Seattle fans are also encouraged to submit tickets to the Seattle Symphony for the event, so the public can be part of the event.
